Pre-Loved, Checked & Ready to Watch

Most of the TV box sets we sell are pre-loved, helping physical media find a new home rather than being forgotten or discarded.

Before being selected for a Mystery TV Boxset, each item is checked by Animal Media to make sure it meets our standards.

Discs are inspected and cleaned where required, and we only send products we believe are suitable to be enjoyed again.

Because these are pre-loved products, cases, sleeves and outer boxes may show reasonable signs of previous ownership, including light shelf wear, minor marks or sticker residue.

For us, that is part of the story of physical media.

What Could I Receive?

That is the mystery.

Our stock can include TV series from many different eras and genres, including:

Comedy • Drama • Sci-Fi • Animation • Sitcoms • Crime • Family Television • British Classics • US Television • Cult TV • Documentaries • Period Drama and more.

You may receive an individual season, series collection or another TV box set depending on the stock available when your order is prepared.

Specific programmes, seasons, genres or age ratings cannot be requested or guaranteed.

If you purchase multiple boxes or maintain a monthly subscription for an extended period, we will always aim to keep your selections varied, although occasional duplicates cannot be completely guaranteed.

Why Choose a Mystery TV Boxset?

There is something different about owning a TV series on DVD.

No disappearing titles. No endless scrolling. No wondering which streaming service currently has the programme you want.

Just a box set on the shelf, ready whenever you want to watch it.

Our Mystery TV Boxset combines that love of physical media collecting with the fun of not knowing exactly what will arrive.

It is affordable, nostalgic and a genuinely enjoyable way to discover television.

Give Physical Media Another Life

Where possible, Animal Media sources pre-loved DVDs and Blu-rays through charity shops and other second-hand sources across the UK.

That means many of the box sets we sell are being given another opportunity to be watched, enjoyed and added to somebody else's collection.

It is one small way of keeping physical media circulating while supporting the idea that great films and television deserve more than one life.
